What is the Baird CAPA Cup Tournament?
Designed exclusively for CAPA members, the tournament will feature a round-robin format leading to an exciting medal round. The top two finishers from the round robin will compete for gold and silver, while the third and fourth place finishers will battle for bronze. This structure ensures maximum playtime and enjoyment for all participants.
New for this year, the tournament will include special events for players aged 70+ and those competing at the 4.5 level or higher. To add to the excitement, an action photographer will capture the highlights, and referees will oversee the medal games as well as some of the round-robin matches.
Concessions will be provided by the McFarland Youth Soccer Club, ensuring players and spectators stay refreshed. Net proceeds from the tournament will be donated to the Boys and Girls Club of Dane County, supporting local youth programs.
As this is an outdoor event, please be aware that rain may lead to modifications or cancellations at the discretion of the Tournament Director. Refunds are available for withdrawals made before August 6th, with a $5 service fee per event non-refundable. If a withdrawal is made without requesting a refund, participants will receive the tournament t-shirt.
